While information about Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is hard to come by from official sources such as the Pokemon YouTube channel or the website for Generation 9 games, several alleged leaks are appearing on the internet. As it happens with new mainline Pokemon games, multiple leaks are actually fan art or fake information spread intentionally, and Riddler Khu is one of the few sources with a proven track record that the community can go to with some confidence. Last month, for example, Khu revealed the type combinations of the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet starters, which are seemingly quite similar to those of Pokemon Legend: Arceus.

Khu also teased the Gym Leaders and Elite Four of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, as well as what sort of types they would specialize in, a piece of information that was later confirmed by a new leaker. This new leaker, called Kaka, is sharing a lot of details about Pokemon Scarlet and Violet and even some pictures, which included the alleged evolution of Pawmi, the new Electric Pokemon revealed in the June trailer. This image was partly believable, but many fans were on the fence about its authenticity.

However, today Khu confirmed not only that the image of Pawmi's evolution in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is actually real, but that the Pokemon is going to have three stages, which may very well confirm a popular rumor about this cute Pokemon. In fact, Pawmi's evolution is said to be the first ever Electric/Fighting-type Pokemon in the franchise, which would make sense judging by the appearance of the little creature, and the leaked image could be its middle stage or final stage. It's possible that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's new Electric critter will have a baby form, much like Pikachu, or that it will simply evolve twice.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are also allegedly featuring another first-time type combination, according to Khu, who revealed that a Grass/Fire hybrid Pokemon is indeed in the Pokedex, but it's not Smoliv's evolution. This could be one of the new past and future forms that Gen 9 is allegedly featuring, or it could be a new species in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's region. Still, this is an interesting type combination, and the fact that it could come alongside an Electric/Fighting-type makes Pokemon Scarlet and Violet quite diverse in terms of new species.

In the past few days, Khu also talked about new Pokemon lines in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, with Gen 9 seemingly including three puppy pocket monsters, one of which is going to be a Ghost-type dog. Although there are plenty of Ghost Pokemon in the games, a Ghost-type dog would be a first too. Overall, there seems to be a lot to discover about Generation 9, and a new trailer would be a great way to make these bits of information official.
