News from Pokemon Scarlet and Violet fans is popping up online about the new Tera Raid, with players reporting that the event is causing their games to crash. This is likely going to cause disappointment in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet community, especially for gamers that have been highly anticipating the arrival of Great Tusk and Iron Treads in the game's Tera Raid lineup.Tera Raids have been a regular occurrence in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, ever since the title was launched last November 2022. Many Pokemon have been featured in the raid battles, some of them more special than the others. The most recent Tera Raids featured the final evolution forms of Gen 2 starters such as Typhlosion, Inteleon, and Chesnaught. With the latest event focusing on Scarlet and Violet exclusive Paradox Pokemon, it is not surprising for players to participate and report any anomalies they may encounter during the raid battle.RELATED: New Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Update Confirmed for Next WeekAs reported by NintendoSoup, fans of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have been sharing their experience with the recent Great Tusk and Iron Treads Tera Raid battle event online. Replying to Pokemon fansite Serebii.net's Twitter post, user daikenblack uploaded a screenshot of their game, saying that they got a "None" reward when they caught Great Tusk before their game crashed. Joe Merrick, Serebii.net's webmaster, gave their thoughts on the situation, explaining that Scarlet and Violet were likely trying to access a specific reward that has not been programmed yet into the title, probably causing the crash. Merrick is expecting a fix to be coming in for this specific glitch.

Many Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players chimed into the Twitter thread, detailing their own experiences of the bug they encountered. Most shared that their games crashed when they finally caught the Paradox Pokemon, and that they also received the "None" reward that is seen in daikenblack's screenshot. One player who plays the game through a digital copy shared that they did not experience any crashes, wondering if game versions played a part in triggering the bug. Another also posted that after their first crash, they restarted their game and were able to successfully complete the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Tera Raid battle they joined.

Given that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Tera Raids are only available for a limited amount of time, the development team should roll out a fix as soon as possible. If not, the team should extend the duration of the event, especially if players are unable to catch the Pokemon featured in the Tera Raid.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are out now, exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
