Ahead of the release of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, one artistic gamer has created shiny versions of Koraidon and Miraidon. These Pokemon are the new box Legendaries for the games, and as a result, they have been getting a lot of attention on social media. While several details about the Legendary pair of pocket monsters have been revealed, their shiny versions in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet remain unknown.

While the shiny variants for Koraidon and Miraidon remain shrouded in mystery, a creative Pokemon fan named GirlyParrot on Reddit decided to share their ideas for what they wanted the box Legendaries in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet to look like. While the color varieties shown off by the Reddit user could be drastically different from the ones used for the actual shiny versions of Koraidon and Miraidon seen in the finished games, they looked impressive, nonetheless.

In a Reddit post, GirlyParrot shared two images, one for both Koraidon and Miraidon, that revealed their custom colors for the shiny variants of the Pokemon. Starting with Koraidon, the Reddit user swapped the bright scarlet color of the pocket monster for a light blueish shade. On the other hand, Girly Parrot removed the violet coloration seen on Miraidon, which now had a reddish brown look in its place. In addition, the underbelly, tail, and antennae of the Pokemon had a striking gold appearance.

Since posting this artwork to Reddit, a number of members of the Pokemon community have weighed in with their own thoughts about the shiny designs of the pocket monsters, Koraidon and Miraidon. The general consensus among the comments seemed to be that the custom shiny versions of the box Legendaries made by GirlyParrot were good and could work in the final version of the game. In fact, the post has gained several hundred upvotes since it was shared roughly a day ago.

While these shiny versions for Koraidon and Miraidon are liked by a number of fans, they are not the only fan creations featuring the popular Pokemon on the internet. As fans anticipate the release of the Gen 9 games, more fan art featuring the new Pokemon, including these box Legendaries, are appearing online. For example, one gamer recently changed the design of Koraidon to remove its signature wheel.

Fortunately, the wait to see these new Pokemon, such as Koraidon and Miraidon, is almost over, as Pokemon Scarlet and Violet launch in only a few more months. Hopefully, the final designs of the shiny versions of the box Legendaries will satisfy most members of the Pokemon community.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet release on November 18 for Nintendo Switch.
