A sculpting artist has just shared the clay figure they created of Bellibolt, one of the recently introduced pocket creatures from Nintendo's upcoming Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Documenting the intricate process of creating a statue of the Electric Pokemon, fans who find Bellibolt cute and interesting will likely appreciate the artist's beautifully detailed creation.

Every time Pokemon Scarlet and Violet reveals a new Pokemon, the fanbase seems to be inspired to create a variety of artwork or fan pieces based on the new pocket creature. Bellibolt was only revealed on October 14, as part of the game's introduction of the new Scarlet and Violet gym leader Iono. In a span of days, discussions about the EleFrog Pokemon and its importance in the upcoming title as well as fan-created pieces such as this hand-sculpted clay figure have already popped up on online forums and threads.

Showcasing their whole artistic process on Reddit, user hotterandstiffer shared a short video of them hand-sculpting and painting their clay figure of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's Bellibolt. Fans will likely enjoy the different stages of the artist's work, from their meticulous molding of the clay into the Pokemon's round figure to their painting of Bellibolt's vibrant blue-green skin color. Hotterandstiffer also showed off how they hand-painted the Pokemon's details including the yellow features on their eyes, belly, forehead and feet.

Replies on the Reddit thread complimented the artist's piece, stating that the figure looks very much like Bellibolt from Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. One comment asked if the artist has made other Pokemon from the upcoming video game. Hotterandstiffer replied that they have made other Pokemon clay figures. However, they share their work more frequently on TikTok so that is likely the best way for fans to see if they have created any new statues. Fellow fans will likely appreciate that the Redditor has sculpted figures inspired by the new Water-type Pokemon Wiglett and the Gen 9 Fire Pokemon Fuecoco.

This is likely not the last time that fans of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will see hotterandstiffer's clay figure work online. The artist has shared that they are excited to see more Pokemon from the upcoming game, especially the evolved versions of the Gen 9 starters. Hopefully Nintendo reveals more new pocket creatures before the game's launch, as this will likely give the artist more time to already sculpt the new Pokemon before the whole Paldea region Pokedex is unveiled to the public.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet launch on November 18, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
