There is barely a few days left until the Pokemon Mysterious Tea Party collection merchandise will be released across Pokemon Centers in Japan. To help fans decide on what items to pick out, and likely prepare them for the damage the merch will cause to their wallets, The Pokemon Company has released new photos that provide a closer look at the products that are part of the tea party-themed collection.

Though not included in any big news or game updates, the reveal and launch of the Pokemon Mysterious Tea Party merch is speculated to be part and parcel of the franchise's celebrations for its 25th anniversary this year. Even before January ended, the company has already announced several new initiatives and brand collaborations, most recently partnering with denim maker Levi's, to start the festivities strong. This time, the company provides its fans with a more whimsical approach to its merchandise with the Mysterious Tea Party collection.

In the official Japanese Pokemon site, new photos were shared that highlighted the line-up of products. Though most of the items are practical and can be used for everyday living, the collection's key visual seems clearly themed after the topsy-turvy tea party in Alice in Wonderland. The whole collection will be released this coming February 6, 2021, and will only be available for purchase in Pokemon Centers in Japan.

Among all of its products, the collection highlights three cute plushies of Pikachu, Eevee, and Alcremie. Known for being based after whipped cream commonly found in pastries, Alcremie was first introduced to the public when Pokemon Sword and Shield was launched in 2019. The Pokemon grew in fame when players realized that getting different versions of Alcremie in the game required a unique way of evolving its base Pokemon, Milcery.

Aside from the three Pokemon-themed plushies, the new photos highlighted the cute teapot and teacup set, ceramic plate, make-up bag, handkerchief, money pouch, and several unique bag designs. There are also photos for other items such as the notebook, washi tapes, and even the face mask envelope. Given the currently on-going pandemic, fans will most likely find this purchase useful. Of course, all of the items in the collection show off some part of, or the whole, Pokemon Mysterious Tea Party main art.

With the merchandise only being sold in Japan, hardcore Pokemon fans may have to find another way to purchase these goods. Hopefully, The Pokemon Company will heed the call of the fans and bring some of the exclusive Japanese merch into North America in the future.
