A creative Pokemon fan has put together their own stunningly lifelike render of the Pokemon known as Stufful, which is realistic to the point that many fans thought it was just a photograph. The artwork is just one of many impressive pieces created by the Pokemon community, who have recently been even busier than usual in making all sorts of forms of art to celebrate the upcoming launch of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet later this month.

The Pokemon community is one of the gems that stands out in the gaming community thanks to their creativity. Beautiful artistic projects are shared by Pokemon fans surprisingly often, which can consist of anything from Japanese-style paintings, LEGO builds, or even bead art of fan-favorite Pokemon. Fellow creative-minded video game enthusiasts are encouraged to check out more projects from the community, which can easily be found on sites such as Twitter and Reddit.

A user known as notsoeverydavies on Reddit is the fan responsible for creating this beautiful piece. The post features two separately rendered images which depict the plush-like Pokemon in different sitting positions next to a window. The artwork appears so realistic that many confused fans were unsure if it was just an edited photograph of a Stufful plush, which prompted the artist to clarify that the piece was actually made in 3D via Blender, with effects added in with Photoshop.

Blender is hardly a new tool to be used by artists, especially when it comes to making fan projects related to video games. 3D artists often use the software to create high-quality artwork in the form of posters, character portraits, and animations, and is seen across many different communities beyond the Pokemon fanbase.

With Pokemon Scarlet and Violet coming out November 18, Pokemon players are more excited than ever to embark on their journey around the Paldea region with some entirely new Pokemon in tow. The range of trailers building up towards the launch of the next mainline Pokemon titles have given players a glimpse at many new Pokemon and characters that they can expect to befriend during their travels around a whole new region.

The newly-revealed Pokemon have given the community, artists in particular, much to appreciate. As has been seen during the launch periods for most other Pokemon titles, fans have been busy expressing their love for all the new Pokemon by creating and sharing mountains of artwork with the community.
