In Pokemon Quest, players catch Pokemon by cooking recipes that lure different Pokemon to their base camp. Before players can worry about cooking recipes, though, they need to make sure that they have the right ingredients, which are primarily earned by going out on expeditions and fighting other Pokemon.

The ingredients in Pokemon Quest are separated into Small Ingredients, which include things like Tiny Mushrooms and Fossils, and Precious Ingredients, which include rarer items like Big Roots and Balm Mushrooms.

One of the most sought-after Precious Ingredients in Pokemon Quest is Honey, as it is necessary for catching some of the franchise's most popular Pokemon, including Pikachu and Eevee. Considering this, it's no surprise Pokemon Quest players want to get their hands on as much Honey as possible, so here is how to farm for it in the game.

Expeditions

To get Honey in Pokemon Quest, players will need to head out on expeditions. However, not every expedition comes with a chance of a Honey drop, so players will want to focus on farming specific expeditions to get their hands on the most Honey possible. Here are all the expeditions that are known to give Honey in Pokemon Quest (in order of when they appear in the game):

  • Gloomy Grove
  • Backforth Brook
  • Pincushion Plain
  • Miasma Moor
  • Hushed Highlands
  • Nightlight Nook
  • Happenstance Island

Out of these expeditions, we recommend players focus on Gloomy Grove early in the early game, and then turn their attention to Pincushion Plain and Miasma Moor. Honey can be found in the other expeditions listed above, but Pincushion Plain and Miasma Moor will give players the most bang for their buck.

Decorations

In Pokemon Quest, players can purchase decorations for their base camp that will influence various aspects of the game. For those who are trying to farm Honey, we recommend getting the Jolteon Cusheon. The Jolteon Cusheon can be purchased with just 50 PM Tickets, and since players earn 50 PM Tickets for their daily log-in reward, it shouldn't be hard to buy at all.

After placing the Jolteon Cusheon at base camp, players will increase the drops of yellow ingredients (which includes Honey) by x1.5.

Pokemon Quest iOS Android release date

Knowing how to most effectively farm honey in Pokemon Quest will greatly help players with attracting many popular Pokemon to their base camp. Honey can be used not only in the Honey-specific recipes, but a variety of other recipes as well, so it's just a good ingredient to have all around. However, other Precious Ingredients are important, too, so players who want to catch other rare Pokemon, like the dragon-type Dratini, will have to farm for more than just Honey.

Pokemon Quest is out now for Android, iOS, and Nintendo Switch.
