Many Pokemon fans have been patiently awaiting new information regarding Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl and the open-world RPG, Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Although fans have seen some gameplay from both of these upcoming Pokemon titles, there's still a lot of information that The Pokemon Company has not disclosed.

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are releasing in just a few more months, and much of the remade Sinnoh region has yet to be seen. In addition, the gameplay loop teased in the first trailer for Pokemon Legends: Arceus has brought a couple of burning questions to the table. As this is a prequel to the Diamond and Pearl games, there's a lot of mystery surrounding it. However, that is all about top hopefully change, as the Pokemon Company has announced that it has some new info to share about both titles very soon.

Announced earlier today via the official Twitter account for Pokemon, a new Pokemon Presents video will air live on August 18th, 2021, and will apparently be around 28 minutes long. It will focus on both Pokemon Legends: Arceus and Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl and will start at 6 AM PT / 7 AM MT / 8 AM CT/ 9 AM ET. For folks that want to tune into the show live, it will be premiering on the official Pokemon YouTube channel. Of course, after the event, there will be a VOD to check out for those that missed the live stream.

As for what could be exactly shown during the event, it would be beneficial for The Pokemon Company to reveal more details surrounding Pokemon Legends: Arceus, as many of the game's elements are still under wraps. It's been confirmed that players will be exploring open environments to fill out data for the first-ever Pokedex in a time period way before the events of Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl. Still, things like potential Legendary Pokemon or the equivalent of Gym Leaders making an appearance are up in the air.

As for the Diamond and Pearl remakes, fans of the original already know what to expect from Gym Leaders and Legendaries. However, people have noticed that Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl have looked more polished since it was originally announced earlier this year. It'll be interesting to see if the new footage shown next week during the Pokemon Presents looks even better than it did before; fans will just have to wait to find out.

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl launch on Nov. 19, 2021, and Pokemon Legends: Arceus releases in 2022, on January 28th.
