With RGB lighting and dynamic colors, gaming peripherals are popular items for good reason. With companies offering accessories themed around franchises such as Pokemon, gamers are able to customize their setup to reflect their own unique style. Recently, one gamer had the opportunity to showcase their love for Pokemon after finding a bargain on a peripheral themed around one of its characters.

After finding a sale for Razer products online, one Pokemon fan managed to score a deal on a Pikachu-themed keyboard. In a post on Reddit, user TheGoldminor showed off the new peripheral on their desk. Sporting a yellow and black design reminiscent of the popular Gen 1 Pokemon, it appears to be a full size keyboard. Besides the vibrant color palette, one of the highlights of the design includes custom directional arrow keys that are in the shape of Pikachu's lightning bolt tail. Furthermore, the normal lettering found on the escape key is replaced with an image of a Pokeball. The keyboard contains a wrist rest that includes different poses of the popular Pokemon.

While Razer sells the Pikachu-themed keyboard on its official website, the price is high for this particular model at $199. According to TheGoldminor, the high pricing for the keyboard is due to its limited release in Asia. Luckily for the Pokemon fan, they discovered another site that was having a sale on Razer products and managed to purchase the keyboard for only $70.

While TheGoldminor only showcased their Pikachu-themed keybaord, Razer sells a variety of other items based on the extremely popular Pokemon as well. To compliment the keyboard, the company released 2 different designs of Pikachu-themed mice. Both featuring a vivid yellow color with red accents, one version has a lighting feature in the shape of a lightning bolt. The other mouse smiles back as it has an image of Pikachu as part of the design. These peripherals can be purchased as a bundle as well. Like with the keyboard, the pricing on these items is expensive as the website lists the Razer Pokemon Mouse, Mousepad & Keyboard Bundle for a whopping $250.

The Reddit community has been enjoying this latest peripheral discovered by TheGoldminor with the post gaining over 1,200 upvotes on Reddit. Many love the look of the keyboard with some asking where they can find one themselves. However, others are apprehensive of buying the expensive peripheral as they pointed out that it appears to be a membrane instead of mechanical keyboard. In addition, many are wanting more keyboards based on other iconic Pokemon from the franchise such as Eevee.
