With roughly 900 hundred Pokemon found throughout the entire Pokemon series, it should come as no surprise that many of these pocket monsters feature unique designs. From cute to fierce, there is no shortage of different types of Pokemon for players to find and train throughout the video games in the franchise. In addition, some have a more ghostly appearance, such as Haunter.

Among those Pokemon with a more foreboding design is Haunter. First introduced in Gen 1, it is a Ghost/Poison-type Pokemon that has been in numerous games over the years. As its name implies, this Pokemon has a spooky appearance. In addition, it has dismembered hands that levitate in front of its body, adding to the spectral design. Recently, one dedicated fan of the Pokemon series decided to make unique artwork in honor of this spooky yet popular Pokemon.

In a post on Reddit, a user known as Career-Tourist shared a picture of a neon LED sign they had created. However, this sign was particularly intriguing as it featured a design based on a Haunter from the Pokemon series. In the image, the shape of a Haunter was clearly visible. Using a combination of purple LED lights for the outer edges of the design and green LED lights for the eyes and mouth, the artist managed to create a spooky look that was appropriate for the Ghost-type Pokemon.

Unsurprisingly, this neon LED Haunter sign caught the attention of numerous members of the Pokemon community on Reddit. With over 600 upvotes in only a few hours, many liked the unusual Pokemon fan art. Among the comments, one fan said that they loved the design of Haunter from Pokemon Red and Blue. In addition, some wondered how the artist had made the sign. Fortunately, Career-Tourist responded by saying that they used a product known as Neon Flex along with a 3D printer.

Impressively, this is not the only artwork made by Career-Tourist. For those interesting in seeing more creations by the Reddit user, they have posted many of them on Reddit. Besides the neon Haunter sign, they have made signs for Dragonair and Feraligatr. In addition to Pokemon signs, they have also made signs featuring characters and items from The Legend of Zelda and Kirby series.

It is often exciting to see what types of creations talented gamers come up with based on their favorite series. Beyond this neon Haunter sign, many other fans have made creations based on the Pokemon franchise over the past couple of weeks. For instance, one player recently created a picture that showed a mech version of Lucario. Time will tell what fan art is shared with the community next. Perhaps Career-Tourist will decide to make even more neon signs based on other Pokemon in the franchise.
