Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX is the new 2020 remake of 2005's Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games. Breaking the mold for a Pokemon title, players of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon DX take the role of a Pokemon themselves, saving others from dangerous dungeons, delivering items, and escorting clients.

To help the player, who begins the game by choosing what kind of Pokemon they want to play as, various other Pokemon can be recruited to the rescue team as allies. As the game progresses, the player can even add Legendary Pokemon to their team, including the three dog Legendaries from Generation II: Entei, Raikou, and Suicune.

Pokemon's best friend

Before players can start recruiting the Legendary dog Pokemon, first they need to have completed the main story campaign as well as the Buried Relic and Great Canyon dungeons. Once that's done, players should head to the town square to find a Spinda who will give them a Clear Wing, which unlocks the Fiery Field where Entei, first of the Legendaries, can be found. It's worth noting that there is currently no chance of running into a shiny Entei, or any of the other Legendary dog Pokemon.

Entei is on floor 30, but to be sure of beating it players should make sure they're at least level 45, and bring along a Water-type team. After Entei is defeated, the Lightning Field will be unlocked, where the Legendary dog Pokemon Raikou can be found. Each of these dungeons is also a good place to find the Rainbow Gummis and DX Gummis, which are required to grant Rare Qualities.

Hounds of the Storm

Like its fiery compatriot, Raikou can also be found on the 30th floor of its respective dungeon. Again, players should be as high level as possible to stand a good chance against the Lightning-type, and bring plenty of Ground-type Pokemon to counter it. These Pokemon can also be recruited throughout the dungeon, making it easier to build an effective rescue team.

Defeating Raikou will unlock the Northwind Field, where the final Legendary dog Pokemon can be found. Suicune is no more or less dangerous than his compatriots, though its Water-type moves will require planning to counter. Again, players should be ready for a tough, high-level fight, and make sure to bring plenty of Electric or Grass-type Pokemon to counter Suicune's Water moves. Each of the three dog Pokemon will join the player after they've been defeated, and as with all Legendary Pokemon, they have no evolution or mega evolution form.
