Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee, the upcoming casual tie-in games to the mobile hit, Pokemon GO, will be arriving in only a couple of months and Nintendo and Game Freak continue the steady trend of new info going with a brand new trailer.

This trailer gives viewers a closer look at the three Legendary Birds - Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres - which players will encounter during their journey throughout Kanto, complete with fancy new animated cutscenes to show them off. Naturally, players will be able to battle them and capture them, which is a slight departure from how catching wild Pokemon in Pokemon Let's Go works, meaning they'll offer more of a challenge.

The trailer also shows off the GO Parks, where players can transfer Pokemon they've caught in the mobile game to Let's Go and add to their party. This only applies to Pokemon that can be found in the Kanto region, of course, but Alolan forms can be transferred over as well. Much like Pokemon GO, players can send any unwanted Pokemon to Professor Oak in exchange for stat-boosting candies to make their team stronger. Candies can also be earned by playing special mini-games.

This info follows on from the latest Nintendo Direct, which announced two special Switch bundles that come with a pre-installed copy of either game, alongside a Switch decorated with silhouettes of Pikachu and Eevee, a pair of yellow and brown Joy-Cons and the PokeBall Plus controller accessory that allows players to take one of their favorite Pokemon with them on the move to receive special rewards.

The Direct also featured another trailer that shows off Celadon City and the new special moves for Pikachu and Eevee that replace the HMs like Cut and Surf. These moves not only don't take up a move slot but mean players won't have to catch Pokemon for the sole purpose of making them HM slaves, whose only job was to cut down trees or push rocks out of the way, potentially making the title far more accessible and less frustrating to play.

Let's Go has been criticized by some competitive players for being heavily casual compared to more recent mainline entries, especially following recent news that certain mainstays like Abilities and Held Items won't feature at all. This doesn't change the fact that they're still among our most anticipated titles of the season.

Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee will release on November 16, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
