One of the ways the original release of Pokemon Yellow distinguished itself from Red and Blue was the ability of Pokemon trainers to have Pikachu follow them around the game world. That feature returns in Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee, but it's taken a step further, with players even able to ride some of the Pokemon in the game.
In Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee, players can ride the 18 larger Pokemon in the games, ranging from Aerodactyl to Tauros. To ride a Pokemon in Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu or Let's Go Eevee, players need to select the Pokemon in their party that they want to ride, and then choose to take that Pokemon out of their Pokeball. If it's one of the 18 Pokemon that can be ridden, players will automatically mount the creatures when they're taken out of the Pokeball.

Riding Pokemon in Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee has some benefits to it, like traveling faster, as well as flying or swimming without using Secret Techniques. Furthermore, players can also use these Pokemon to skip trainers and obstacles by simply flying over everything. Considering this, it's definitely worth taking the time to catch some of these Pokemon and add them to one's roster of monsters.
Of course, some players may not want to skip over trainers, as battling is a great way to level up Pokemon. Even so, it's still worth catching the rideable Pokemon, as they all help players traverse the game world a little faster.
If for some reason Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee fans don't want to ride Pokemon in the game, there are other ways to move through the game world quickly. After reaching Celadon City and defeating Team Rocket at their headquarters, players can teach Pikachu or Eevee the Sky Dash Secret Technique, which will help them fly wherever they want in the Kanto region.
