Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Pokemon Let's Go Eevee are just days away from their November 16 release date, but some clever few have apparently garnered early access to the games -- or at least to their data. Dataminers have pored through both Pokemon Let's Go titles searching for interesting information and they seem to have found it. Nintendo Soup is reporting that all of the RPGs' version exclusive Pokemon have been uncovered, confirming previous leaks. It's the perfect information for helping potential buyers pick whether to side with Pikachu or Eevee.

It looks like both versions of Pokemon Let's Go will have an excellent selection of exclusive Pokemon, so don't stress too much over which version to pick up. But if, for instance, anyone must capture their very own Vulpix or Ninetales then this list could be of great importance:

  • Pokemon Let's GO Pikachu: Sandshrew, Sandslash, Oddish, Gloom, Vileplume, Growlithe, Arcanine
  • Pokemon Let's GO Eevee: Vulpix, Ninetales, Meowth, Persian, Bellsprout, Weepinbell, Victreebel

Each game will reportedly have just seven exclusive Pokemon, which is fewer than is normal for a Pokemon title, but should still encourage players to partake in trading. Trading between Pokemon Let's Go versions was confirmed earlier this year, via both local wireless and online, but likely requires a Nintendo Online subscription. Players can also transfer Pokemon from Pokemon GO on their mobile device, if trading isn't easy for them to manage.

Interestingly, the Pokemon Let's Go version exclusive Pokemon are heavily influenced by the original Pokemon Red and Pokemon Blue exclusives. Interesting, but not surprising, given that the two new Pokemon Let's Go games are updated takes on the two classic Pokemon titles. But instead of mirroring the exact version exclusives of the classics, which each had eleven exclusives,  Pokemon Let's Go mixes them together.

For example, Pokemon Blue's exclusives included Sandshrew, Vulpix, Meowth, and Bellsprout, along with their respective evolutions. Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu will be closer to Pokemon Red, which included Oddish and Growlithe and their evolutions.

Exclusive Pokemon that Nintendo decided should be shared between all version this time around include Ekans and Arbok, popular Pokemon from the anime, and Mankey and Primeape. There's also the more powerful exclusive Pokemon, Scyther, Electabuzz, Magmar, and Pinsir, who all appear to be shared for the betterment of both games. Of course, there's a chance that the datamine isn't complete. At any rate, it looks like players will have to find out at launch.
