Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee are packed with nostalgic moments that fans of the Pokemon series are sure to enjoy, but that doesn't mean that its devoid of pop culture references. Easter eggs are hidden throughout the game, including a clever reference that Batman fans should enjoy. Here's how to find it.

Accessing the Easter Eggs

In order for the player to have access to the Batman Easter eggs, the player must first complete defeating all of the Gym Trainers and then beat the Elite Four. Once Pokemon Let's Go's Elite Four are beaten, a new series of post-game content will open up for players. Master Trainers, which specialize in just one Pokemon, will appear all over the map and can be challenged for their title. Master Trainers can be identified by an icon floating over their heads that shows the Pokemon they've mastered.

Players should bring along the Pokemon that the Master Trainers specialize in in order to fight them, as these fights are designed to determine who is the ultimate master of the specific Pokemon. In the case of the Batman Easter eggs, players will be challenging the masters of Zubat and its evolution, Golbat. Thankfully, neither of these Pokemon are exclusive to either version of the game, and are plentiful enough to find in caves or by transferring Pokemon from Pokemon Go.

Where to Find the Batman Easter Eggs

The first of the two Batman Easter egg Master Trainers can be found inside the Rock Tunnel that leads to Lavender Town. Players will need to drop down one floor beneath the exit that leads out towards Lavender Town. There, a Master Trainer can be found named Scientist West. West is named after late actor Adam West, one of the first to portray Batman in the 1960s television show of the same name. West is the game's Zubat Master Trainer, and will fight the player with a level 70 Zubat.

The other half of the Easter egg can be found within Victory Road on the way to the Indigo Plateau. One floor up from the exit, there will be Master Trainer named Keaton. Like West, this Master Trainer is named after Michael Keaton, who portrayed Batman in Tim Burton's Batman and Batman Returns films. This Master Trainer uses a level 75 Golbat, so be prepared before challenging him. Once these two trainers are defeated, the player will receive the titles of Zubat Master and Golbat Master, respectively.

Batman Easter eggs have popped up in a number of games in recent years, including The Division and even Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. While trainers can't quite call themselves Batman after beating these two Master Trainers, it's nonetheless a charming nod to two of the actors who brought the iconic superhero to life.
