The Pokemon series has a number of memorable items that players and fans alike should recognize immediately. Throughout almost any Pokemon game, players will come across a similar variety of health items, Poke Balls, and everything in between. As a tribute to some of the most memorable of these, one player decided to recreate the Poke Ball, Potion, and Egg Incubator in LEGO.
The Pokemon franchise has been around for decades and produced a number of games to this point. The Poke Ball and Potion first appear in the Pokemon Red and Blue while the Egg Incubator is associated with 2016's Pokemon GO. For builds such as this one, individual pieces of LEGO can be purchased and combined to create a number of different designs.
U/eyemcantoeknees created these LEGO builds and each one is equally impressive. Their Egg Incubator looks just like the Incubator all players start off with in Pokemon GO and even was built with an egg inside. Their LEGO Potion must be based off of the base version introduced in Generation 1 and matches that design quite well. The final piece of this post, the Poke Ball, is immediately recognizable and the creator even added a link to the instructions they used to create it on the post. The combination of the three work wonderfully together and u/eyemcantoeknees's experience working with LEGO truly shines here.
To create these tributes to iconic Pokemon items from just a combination of LEGO pieces is an impressive feat. They each bring to mind exactly what the creator was intending and almost look like an official collaboration. But it is likely the experience of u/eyemcantoeknees through their other Pokemon builds that makes these designs work so well.
Throughout a playthrough of a Pokemon game, players will likely go through a huge number of Poke Balls and Potions of all kinds. That being said, the Egg Incubator stands out a little in comparison to those iconic items. Though Pokemon GO is tremendously popular, this item may not have the same recognition as the other two do with Pokemon players.
That being said, each item is recognizable and Pokemon Go's Incubator has been around for years now. And, that popularity of Pokemon Go can't be discounted. Millions of players have walked their way to hatching a number of different types of Pokemon with that very Egg Incubator. Either way the creations here are impressive and any Pokemon fan should be able to appreciate a post like this one.
