Like most Pokemon games, Pokemon Legends: Arceus provides players the opportunity to interact and catch all kinds of different Pokemon including Shiny Pokemon. Of course, the game doesn't make it easy to find Shiny Pokemon in Hisui.
When it comes to capturing Shiny Pokemon in the game, players have to find the elusive Pokemon wherever they can. Pokemon Legends: Arceus does provide an opportunity for players to encounter Shiny Pokemon in Mass Outbreaks. The Mass Outbreaks don't guarantee that players will run into Shiny Pokemon, though. However, one player got lucky when they were able to find not one but two Shiny Pokemon at once in the game.
Recently, Reddit user RaisonDter made a post on the Pokemon Legends: Arceus subreddit where they shared an image of their encounter with two Shiny Piplups at the same time in the game. This happened during a Mass Outbreak event, and they encountered both of these Shiny Pokemon when they least expected it. The user didn't state whether they actually caught the Shiny Piplups in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, but it's safe to assume that they did.

When RaisonDter made the post, a couple of the commenters also shared their own lucky experiences catching Shiny Pokemon in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. The first commenter shares how after capturing their first Shiny Geodude and evolving it, they ended up encountering another Shiny Geodude during a Mass Outbreak and caught several more Shiny Geodudes in the game. Another commenter shared their brief story of how they caught a Shiny Gligar in a Mass Outbreak just the day before the post was made.
Encountering Shiny Pokemon during a Mass Outbreak is a lucky opportunity for any players who happen to find them and end up catching them. Players' chances of running into Shiny Pokemon are also helped by the Massive Mass Outbreaks in Pokemon Legends: Arceus added after its initial release. The Massive Mass Outbreaks help by having multiple groups of different Pokemon appear instead of just one specific type of Pokemon appearing. While the Mass Outbreaks don't guarantee players will meet Shiny Pokemon, these events do help players' chances of actually encountering and catching these elusive Pokemon in the game.
