With just a little over a week until release Pokemon Legends Arceus has had some major leaks from what appears to be a retail copy of the game that someone got their hands on early. While Nintendo is usually quick to remove leaked images and other game details, they're being spread so fast online that it seems like the Japanese studio is having a hard time keeping up and removing the content.

While there are quite a lot of leaked details making the internet rounds, one Twitter account, @CentroLeaks, is hosting a plethora of images of the Pokemon that will be included in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. So far, the officially announced roster of new monsters has been pretty small when compared to those of games past, but if everything the leaks are saying are true, then it seems like Game Freak has done a lot of work giving classic Pokemon new Hisuian regional forms.

Some of the Pokemon revealed in the leak include Hisuian forms of Decidueye, Typhlosion, Samurott, the fully evolved forms of the game's three announced starters which have been speculated about since the game's announcement. Dialga and Palkia, recently featured in the remakes Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, have also been given Hisuian forms that alter their appearances that make them look like reminiscent of centaurs.

CentroLeaks claims that while many of the older Pokemon coming to the game are receiving new regional forms, Arceus will not be. This could be because Arceus is technically a Pokemon god and wouldn't have origins tied to any one specific region in the Pokemon world, but that would potentially also be true about Dialga and Palkia, so the lore reasoning for this isn't clear just yet. Hopefully, the game itself will be able to clarify this if it's true.

A handful of other new Pokemon, both new to the series as well as returning monsters with new Hisuian forms, have been listed in the leaks alongside many new type changes coming for the new regional versions. There are a lot of story spoilers included in the leaks as well including the opening cutscene and early parts of the game itself.

There's no official confirmation on if any of the information leaked is true; however, if retail copies of Pokemon Legends: Arceus are really being circulated early, then there's likely to be some truth to many of the details. Anyone looking to avoid the more spoiler-heavy information should make use of Twitter's mute features to keep Pokemon keywords out of their feeds until they can play the game themselves.
