According to the Pokedex entry, Clefairy is a rare Pokemon that is easily spotted during a full moon. Despite this, some Pokemon games had it where trainers could catch Clefairy so long as they were in the right area regardless of the in-game time of day and weather. Pokemon Legends: Arceus references Clefairy's Pokedex entry, going so far as to include a special sidequest just for the Fairy-type Pokemon.

With over 80 Requests in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, it is very easy for players to miss Request 67 - especially if they can't find Clefairy. Despite its simplicity, the Request has a few requirements in order for players to complete it.

The Request: Clefairy's Moonlit Dance is a sidequest that takes place in the Coronet Highlands. If players are only up to the Cobalt Coastlands, then Request 67 won't appear on Professor Laventon's blackboard. However, unlocking the Coronet Highlands is just one of several requirements for this request.

After learning how to call Sneasler from Ingo, players should go west from the Celestica Trail. There, they should find a lake with a waterfall. Using Basculegion to swim, they'll need to follow the waterfall down into the river below, and then follow the river to arrive at the Fabled Spring.

During the day, there are many Budew and Roselia here with not a single Clefairy in sight. Unfortunately, the Clefairy-line does not appear during the day. Players will need to visit the Fabled Spring at night if they want to catch Clefairy. It's also not a bad idea to catch Cleffa either while they're at it.

Catching Clefairy is required to unlock Request 67, so players should throw a Poke Ball at it and then return to Jubilife Village once the Pokemon has been caught. After this, they should check the blackboard in Laventon's office to unlock the request.

Request 67 involves speaking to Astair first, who's in the room on the bottom floor of the Galaxy Hall. If players forget to speak with him before going back to the Coronet Highlands, they won't be able to observe the Clefairy.

The second requirement is to make sure that a full moon is out. Players can advance time by resting at any camp. It will take a few seconds for the moon to appear in the sky, so they'll need to wait a bit and see what the moon looks like before rushing to the Fabled Spring. The best place to observe the moon is at the top of Moonview Arena. If the moon isn't full, then it's a simple case of returning to the camp and selecting the "Rest until nighttime" option again until it is.

When players see the full moon, they should hurry over to the Fabled Spring. Players should mark the Request in the missions/objectives screen on the map to see exactly where they need to investigate the Clefairy.

If done correctly, a group of Clefairy will look up at the moon and start dancing. Once they leave, players can inspect the glowing mark on the ground to get a Moon Stone. They can then return to Astair to turn in the request and receive Salt Cake (x5) and EXP Candy M (x2) as a reward.

Request 67 cannot be completed during Mission 13: Disaster Looming. If the moon isn't visible, then the event will not trigger at the Fabled Spring.
