Set in the Hisui region, Pokemon Legends: Arceus has a hub area where trainers can buy, sell, and even customize their character. One feature is the Farm, which allows players to farm various crafting ingredients such as apricorns and berries. However, players can unlock different types of fields by doing Requests.
The more Story Missions players complete in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, the more Requests become available around Jubilife Village. The Farm is linked to the "Help Wanted" sidequests, which are easy to complete - especially if players are catching every Pokemon they see.
Players will first start with Request 27: Plowing the Fields, followed by Request 42: Watering the Fields, and finally Request 60, Rock Smashing in the Fields.
Unlocking and Completing Request 27
Request 27 doesn't unlock until players have started Mission 8: Arezu's Predicament. This means defeating Lord Kleavor in the Obsidian Fieldlands and completing Mission 7: The Frenzy of the Lord of the Woods.
After speaking with Kamado, exit the Galaxy Hall and fast-travel to the Farm, which is to the south of the Training Grounds.
Speak to Miller, who should have the Poke Ball Request Icon over his head. He'll talk about wanting to expand the fields, but he'll need the help of a Pokemon.
For Request 27, he wants a Ground-type Pokemon. If players managed to catch one of the Geodude on Deertrack Heights in Obsidian Fieldlands, then they can speak to Miller again to give him Geodude.
If not, there are plenty of Ground-type Pokemon in Crimson Mirelands, such as Hippopotas and Rhyhorn, which can be found north and south of Bogbound Camp.
Keep in mind that Miller will hold onto the Pokemon that offers to help. Fortunately, if players decide they want to swap out that Pokemon for another, all they need to do is interact with the Pokemon that is currently working in the fields. They'll need another Ground-type in the Pastures for this to work.
Request 27 Rewards
Completing this Request unlocks two more harvests: Mushroom Harvest and Vegetable Harvest. These cost 2,000 and 1,500 poke dollars, respectively. These harvests will yield the following crops:
Vegetable Harvest |
|
---|---|
Mushroom Harvest |

Crops are randomized, so it's not a surefire way to farm specific crafting recipes. Some crops such as the Hearty Grains and Sand Radishes are needed for other sidequests, so purchasing them from the Crafting Store or searching for them in the wild may be easier.
However, if players want to unlock the Special Berry Harvest and the Mint Harvest, they'll need to complete Request 27.
Pokemon Legends: Arceus is available on Nintendo Switch.
