Since the latest Pokemon presentation was the longest Pokemon Presents yet, fans are plenty busy with all of the information The Pokemon Company has revealed. Even with the premiere's runtime of 28 minutes, the Pokemon news didn't just end there. It seems that with some digging around Pokemon Legends: Arceus' site, there are even more bits of information that fell through the cracks of the main presentation.

Pokemon websites have always been sources of extra information, and Pokemon Legends: Arceus had plenty of surprises on its own webpage. This hasn't been the first time that websites after Pokemon Presents have gone into more detail, as type confirmations could be found shortly after Pokemon Sun & Moon's reveals back in 2016.

Fans who visit the website can find a preorder link, which also reveals a "Hisuian Growlithe Kimono set" as a pre-order bonus. It's another pre-order present that can be redeemed through Mystery Gift, but the website also reveals that the player gets the Mystery Gift feature after "approximately two hours of playtime." Trainers who order the digital version will also get 30 Heavy Balls. Heavy Balls are a special Pokeball that have a high catch rate against Pokemon who "haven't noticed you yet," meaning players need to use stealth to catch the creature in question.

Other details revealed by the site include the confirmation that Pokemon can be traded between trainers in this game through a "Trading Post" in Jubilife Village. The main characters are also named Akari and Rei when not played by the player, Commander Kamado is Professor Rowan's ancestor, and fans need to complete "research tasks" to complete the Pokedex rather than just catching a Pokemon once. There are also type confirmations for the new Pokemon revealed in the trailers, which are listed below.

  • Wyrdeer is Normal/Psychic Type
  • Basculegion is Water/Ghost Type
  • Hisuian Braviary is Psychic/Flying
  • Hisuian Growlithe is Fire/Rock

For a game that just had an 11 minute part of a large presentation, the website holds a bunch more information for fans to discover. While some information on the website seemed like it was a given, the inclusion of a pre-order bonus may entice some fans to go ahead and place their order. It's interesting to find that the details were left on the website, rather than in the presentation as pre-orders were announced.

Still, for fans waiting for more news about Pokemon Legends: Arceus, this website will definitely offer more details later. Especially since if fans look at the list of Pokemon, there's plenty of empty spaces left to be filled.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus will launch for Nintendo Switch on January 28th, 2022.
