Pokemon Legends: Arceus is unique in that it has only one village for the protagonist to do their shopping, store their Pokemon, and carry on with the main quest. Jubilife Village, however, keeps itself interesting by developing as the game moves forward. There are pretty interesting Pokemon characters to find around as well, from quest givers to familiar faces.

There are many notable NPCs in Pokemon Legends: Arceus' Jubilife village, and there are many reasons to interact with them. As the town develops, more NPCs will have quests, and It's worthwhile to check into the stores every once in a while as they add more options. The village, while small, bustles with life, and fans even get to see more Pokemon work alongside the villagers over time as they complete the main story and requests.

NPCs That Offer Goods And Services

For players that want goods and services, the most notable NPCs are around the north section of town. For clothes, an NPC named Anthe can sell shirts, pants, and accessories. To teach Pokemon different moves or master ones they already know, Zisu in the northwest Training Grounds is an NPC worth seeking out. Also near the training grounds, by a little shrine is an NPC named Lucille. She sells Charms that the player can use to protect themselves while exploring, with some preventing a person from fainting and others to protect items from being lost.

For evolution items, there is an NPC named Simona with a Trading Post. Through her, players can trade Merit Points for items like Fire Stones, Reaper Cloth, and Razor Fangs. Through her post, players can also trade Pokemon with other players. Not far from her post is an NPC named Bonn near the Galaxy Team Headquarters, and he sells Exp. Candies.

To buy recipes and crafting materials, there is an NPC across from Bonn and Simona named Anvin. Not too far from his shop is the General Store, which is run by a character named Choy. He sells supplies, but some items are only available after completing his requests. Right next to his shop is the hairdresser, which is run by an old NPC named Edith and later is run by Arezu.

Near the entrance of Jubilife Village, players can speak to an NPC named Dagero, who runs a photography studio. Doing missions for him gets more photography studio options and players can take screenshots of their characters with their Pokemon. On the far west side of the map, there is an NPC named Colza who will plant and harvest crops on behalf of the player for a fee. Back to the east side is also Marie, who is in charge of the Pokemon pastures and is the one to speak to in order to exchange Pokemon between the party and pastures.

On the side of the pastures by the fence is an NPC named Belamy. Once his request is complete, players can go to him to check out their Pokemon's friendship level. Far off into the Practice Fields, there is an NPC named Taggart that can be spoken to in order to play a balloon-popping minigame that has various rewards based on score. After meeting Warden Ingo, he eventually shows up to stay at the Jubilife Village Training Grounds. He can be spoken to in order to battle various villagers and is the only Warden aside from Arezu that can be found in Jubilife Village.

Last but not least is the Ginkgo Guild, Bagin, and Captain Cyllene. The Ginkgo Guild sits outside of Galaxy Team's HQ and Ginter sells rare items while the NPC next to him sells general supplies. Inside the HQ, there is an NPC named Bagin at the entrance, and he will free up inventory space to gather more items for a fee. With each space freed up, Bagin's price increases. Captain Cyllene is in the room just beyond Bagin, and she can raise the players rank once they have collected enough Pokedex data.

NPCs With Requests

Outside NPCs that offer goods and services, there are those with quests all over Jubilife Village. Many require catching a Pokemon and/or completing its Pokedex entry. NPCs that want players to catch and give/show them a Pokemon include: Beauregard (who wants a Wurmple and later a Silcoon), Toshi (wants to see a Shinx), Dorian (wants a Buizel bigger than 2'8), Clarissa (Zubat), Radisa (Geodude), Yota (a shiny Ponyta), Miller (a Ground-type Pokemon), Shinon (Petilil), Morel (Parasect), Pesselle (Croagunk), Risa (Tangela), Asabei (Glameow), and Netta (Finneon).

Most requests are from NPCs in Jubilife Village, and there are 94 requests in the entire game, so nearly every character eventually gives something for the player to do. Some quests also ask for certain items, so it is good to stock up. Requests come from NPCs both inside and outside the Galaxy Team HQ.

Main Story NPCs

While there is plenty to do with NPCs that have requests, goods, and services, there is also of course the NPCs important to the main story. Most of these characters are inside the Galaxy Team HQ. Inside the building, Professor Laventon has his own room and comments on whatever is going on in the main story. In the next room is Captain Cyllene, who is important to the main story as well as an NPC to visit to rank up.

On the top floor is Commander Kamado, the boss of Galaxy Team. He is integral to the main story. Then there is either Akari or Rei, depending on the gender the player chooses to play as, who act as a minor rival and friend in the main story. Other main story NPCs are mostly found outside of Jubilife Village, as they are in the Diamond and Pearl clans with are spread around the region in small camps.
