Pokemon Legends: Arceus is the most recent game to come out of the Pokemon franchise. Set in the distant past of the Sinnoh region, known at the time as the Hisui region, players experienced a completely new type of Pokemon adventure as they explored semi-open world locations while catching Pokemon in real-time. Pokemon Legends: Arceus was a big hit with Pokemon fans.

This popularity lead to several fan artists producing creations inspired by the world of Pokemon Legends: Arceus. While some fans would draw art of the new Hisuian forms of certain Pokemon, others create content centered around the many new characters players will encounter in the game. One fan decided to use their rendering skills to create a 3D mock-up of a common Pokemon series item.

A fan artist on Reddit named Tyrr_D has created a 3D render of a Hisuian Poke Ball that players will obtain while on their adventure. Long before the creation of standard Poke Balls, these wooden variants were what people at the time used. The render attempts a realistic design for the Poke Ball, showcasing the marks in the wood and the shine off the metal hole that is situated on top of the Poke Ball.

While this is Tyrr_D's most recent fan art for this franchise, they have produced art for the grass-type starter Pokemon of Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire Treecko. As a 3D rendering artist, Tyrr_D has created other pieces for different franchises, including Digimon, Hell Boy, and Darkstalkers.

Realistic fan art for a very stylized game is a popular trend some fan artists enjoy. As a property developed for children and Nintendo consoles, Pokemon is a franchise with an incredibly stylized world with every aspect being colorful and safe for children to view. Fan art of this nature may have become more popular due to the desire some fans have to see the franchises they love in a mature or darker light. Pokemon isn't the only Nintendo franchise that has content like this as Super Mario and The Legend of Zelda have also seen their fair share of realistic fan art.

With a franchise as popular and wildly known as Pokemon, fan creations of various natures are bound to pop up. Some create plush toys or wood carvings for the new Pokemon introduced while others may use the medium of animation to express their love. With the next generation of Pokemon titles on the horizon, fans will have plenty of new content to cover.
