The Pokemon franchise has released plenty of merchandise over the years, with many accessories, figures, and other goods being based on some of the fan-favorites from the series. This merchandise is typically sold through the franchise's official storefront, the Pokemon Center, which includes not only an online store but also a few branches in Japan to the United States. The official products are usually of high quality, as these retailers are officially managed by The Pokemon Company and are tied to upcoming or recently released games in the franchise, such as Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus sees trainers thrown back into the ancient past, with the game set in a location known as the Hisui Region. This allows players to meet the ancestors of various characters in the franchise, along with ancient versions of known Pokemon. Hisuian versions of Pokemon like Growlithe or even new stages like the evolution of Basulin to Basculegion are featured in the game. With a bunch of new Pokemon available in the game, it's no surprise some of them have become plushie toys that are being sold by The Pokemon Company.

Announced on Pokemon's official website, the first four Pokemon that are getting plush dolls are Hisuian Growlithe, Wyrdeer, Hisuian Braviary, and Basulegion. The Hisuian versions all have different looks than their modern counterparts, such as Hisuian Braviary having a different color scheme and feather pattern, while Hisuian Growlithe is more lion-like. These are all Pokemon that play a prominent role in the gameplay of Pokemon Legends: Arceus. For example, both Basculegion and Wyrdeer are mountable Pokemon that can be found during the main quest, which can help players traverse the Hisui Region's terrain.

These Pokemon plushies are available to order now on the Pokemon Center storefront, ranging in various sizes. The Hisuian Growlithe is the smallest plush, as it us under 10," while the other three plushies have a size of around 10" to 15". The latter three plushies are all roughly $20, while the Hisuian Growlithe doll is around $16.50, most likely due to its smaller size.

As of this writing, the Basculegion and Hisuian Growlithe plushies are both sold out according to the Pokemon Center's website, and its currently unclear when they will have it in stock again. The Pokemon Center UK site does currently list all four plushies as being available, but it does not ship orders outside the United Kingdom. Fans who wish to get their hands on one of these plushies should do so soon.
