What to Buy with Merit Points at the Item Exchange

Pokemon Legends: Arceus isn't afraid to throw players against tough Alpha Pokemon and Noble Pokemon. And just like most Pokemon titles, players can blackout in the field if they take too much damage. When this happens, players will lose some of their precious items in their satchel, but if players connect online, they can find lost satchels on the field and return them to the original owner. This is called the Lost and Found system in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

How to Get Merit Points

If players find a lost satchel on the ground, make sure to pick it up, because MP (Merit Points) will be earned once it's returned to its owner. If players are out on an expedition, they can open up the map and check to see if there are any nearby satchels. Players can also open the menu with the up button on the d-pad, and then press ZL or ZR to go to the Communications page. This is where trainers can unlock special presents using the Mystery Gift feature, and this is where the Lost and Found section is located.

Players can turn in any collected satchels to earn Merit Points as a thank-you gift. As for where these Merit Points can be used, players need to head back to Jubilife Village and talk to a woman named Simona. She has a cart right in front of the Training Grounds, and here, players can turn in their earned Merit Points to unlock some rare goodies, which mostly consists of evolutionary stones and other items that can help evolve certain Pokemon. Simona's item exchange stand will not be there unless players have made it to the fifth story Mission in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Essentially, she will appear once players have unlocked the online connectivity features.
