The Pokemon Company recently announced that it would dub the 23rd season of Pokemon in English, release it internationally as Pokemon Journeys, and work with Netflix to stream it to US audiences. Of course, other countries will have their hands on the English dub, too, and thus have released their own news about it since the original announcement broke.

In particular, the United Kingdom television network, POP, will host a sneak peek of the English dub of Pokemon Journeys on May 25, 2020, after which it will start airing the series proper on September 1, 2020. But the sneak peek itself will consist of the season's first four episodes, and as such, the English titles of these episodes have released.

The titles are as follows:

E01: Enter Pikachu!

E02: Legend? Go! Friends? Go!

E03: Ivysur's Mysterious Tower!

E04: Settling the Scorbunny!

These first four episodes pretty much act as a setup for the rest of the season. "Enter Pikachu!" tells the tale of Pikachu's origin, covering the events that saw him evolve from a Pichu into the Pokemon he is today. "Legend? Go! Friends? Go!" sees Ash meet Go, the traveling companion that he'll spend the rest of the season with. "Ivysur's Mysterious Tower!" reintroduces Team Rocket back into the series, and finally, "Settling the Scorbunny!" shows Go catching his very first Pokemon.

The season plans to have 25 episodes in total. When Netflix premieres the dub on June 12, it will do so with the first 12 episodes. From then on, the streaming service plans to release 12 new episodes every quarter. So it's next "12" should appear around the time UK's POP starts properly airing the show.

However, this "12" episode plan may change depending on the progress of the coronavirus situation. Because of the pandemic, The Pokemon Company has put the production of new Pokemon episodes on indefinite hiatus, meaning not enough installments exist for Netflix to premiere another 12. If the virus calms down by September, however, this can change.

As stated before, the US and UK, won't be the only countries with access to the English dub of the season; they also won't be the first to premiere it either. Anyone not in the mood to wait, and lucky enough to be in Canada can catch the English premiere in just five days on May 9, 2020. It will premiere on the Teletoon network, which also happens to stream some of its shows.

Pokemon Journeys will travel to Netflix on June 12, 2020.
