The Pokemon Company and Nintendo revealed the next generation of Pokemon with a trailer for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet several days ago, confirming the three starters and creating a lot of speculation in the Pokemon community. OnePokemon fan has imagined the main Pokemon Scarlet and Violet trainer as the Pokemon anime's Team Rocket villains Jessie and James depending on what gender a Pokemon player selects.

Since Pokemon Scarlet and Violet were unveiled, many Pokemon fans have considered the evolutions of the three starter Pokemon, locations they may explore in a new region inspired by Spain, and in some cases trying to guess what Pokemon may be part of the Pokedex. Twitter user Stoic_Miiverse recently shared their fan art inspired by Pokemon Scarlet and Violet in which they imagine the Team Rocket duo of Jessie and James as prominent characters in the Spain-inspired region alongside the chatty Meowth. In the background of the fan art among the foliage and decorations is a chagrinned Pokemon trainer, who has been confirmed as the main character of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet by the reveal trailer.

Dressed very similar to the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet trainer, Team Rocket's Meowth is sporting a school uniform with an oversized hat, which seems to be the initial customization for the new Pokemon trainer. Unlike the astonished trainer in the background of the fan art, this Meowth has a wide grin as it looks to the side and holds a paw to its face. Although the Jessie and James depicted by Stoic_Miiverse in this fan art share clothing similarities with the aforementioned Pokemon character, Pokemon Red and Blue fans will see more commonalities with their anime counterparts.

In Stoic_Miiverse's fan art, Jessie is holding a Poke Ball to her face and seems to be looking at her reflection in it to fix her red hair. The Team Rocket member dons a white button-up shirt and orange tie and a striped orange skirt with blue drawstrings and a pocket facing outward. Just like her crop top in the Pokemon anime, Jessie's shirt and skirt don't fully connect which leaves a portion of her mid-section exposed to the sunny climate already teased for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Unlike Jessie in Stoic_Miiverse's Pokemon Scarlet and Violet fan art, James is sporting blue shorts with yellow drawstrings and a similarly colored tie bringing the collar of his white dress shirt together. James' clothing covers his stomach like his Team Rocket uniform does but more closely resembles the formal clothing he wore as a child prior to joining Team Rocket. As he does in the Pokemon anime Team Rocket intros, James is holding a rose in Stoic_Miiverse's fan art while he tosses a Poke Ball into the air with his other hand.

Because Jessie has scarlet hair and James has violet hair, it's fitting to see both Pokemon anime characters representing Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. While Pokemon Scarlet and Violet may include several customization options, it remains to be seen whether Pokemon fans will be able to make their trainers resemble Team Rocket's Jessie or James. Each Pokemon region introduced focuses on a unique storyline and as a result, new villainous organizations beyond Team Rocket are introduced which may mean Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players won't encounter Jessie or James in their adventures.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will release for Nintendo Switch in 2022.
