Players of the adorable creature franchise have been waiting for Pokemon Home to get support for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The long wait is finally over, as trainers can officially transfer their beloved Pokemon to their other favorite games. This also opens up the door of easily trading Scarlet and Violet Pokemon while on the go through the mobile app.

As with many Pokemon games in the past, players haven't always been able to transfer every single Pokemon from one game to another in the series. This hasn't changed across consoles; most can be sent back and forth, but not all. This guide lists all transferable Pokemon between Scarlet and Violet to the Pokemon Home app.

How To Transfer Pokemon Between Games

Pokemon-Home-boxes

Transferring Pokemon back and forth between games is fairly easy; once the Pokemon Home app is downloaded onto the Nintendo Switch, players can access their library of boxes from whichever game is selected. After clicking on Scarlet and Violet, it'll load up all the Pokemon in boxes on that game, which can then be moved to Pokemon Home to be sent to a different game if available or traded.

If a player has a Pokemon in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl that they would like to have in Scarlet and Violet, this is the app that should be used to do that. This also works if a player has a Pokemon that want to evolve from Pokemon GO; it can be done on the console game - however, it won't be able to be transferred back to the mobile game.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available now for Nintendo Switch. Pokemon Home is also available on Switch.
