Although Pokemon GO's February Community Day has been over for only a few hours, the game's fans are already looking ahead to the next big event. This month offered the chance to catch shiny Dratini, in addition to other bonuses, and the event was a huge hit with players, despite some technical difficulties and bad weather. If an image accidentally posted by Niantic is to be believed, it sounds like next month's event may be put the spotlight on one of the iconic gen-1 starters.

Niantic is probably not going to post any official details about the Pokemon GO March Community Day event for at least a week or so, but an accidentally posted piece of promo art may have already let the grass-type out of the bag. A Reddit user found an image (featured above) on Niantic's website that features Bulbasaur in the Community Day frame. Shortly after the find was shared on Reddit, the image was pulled down from the official site.

Obviously there is the chance that this is just a placeholder image, but fans are already speculating about the event, shiny bulbasaurs, and debating whether or not the creature is exciting enough to be the focus of a Community Day event. Some players who don't think bulbasaur warrants its own event have begun theorizing that the March Community Day may be a starter event, that would actually feature all three gen-1 starter options.

A starter event Community Day would be pretty exciting, but the odds of catching shiny versions of all three would probably be pretty low. This would drive the completionists crazy and likely lead to a lot of complaining. That's just business as usual for Pokemon GO though, right?

Either way, Niantic should be releasing official details about the next Community Day in the coming weeks, so check back for details.

Good luck out there, trainers!
