Next weekend, Pokemon GO’s third Community Day event is set to feature Bulbasaur for a few hours on March 25. During this event, Bulbasaur will have an increased spawn rate, and moreover, if players manage to evolve an Ivysaur into a Venusaur during the event, it’ll learn an exclusive move. Until today, however, that exclusive move was unknown.

Pokemon GO has now revealed that move to be Frenzy Plant. Rumors suggest this move to be a two-bar charge that deals 100 damage, which could make this the strongest Grass-type move in the game. This powerful move will definitely elevate Venusaur’s standing in the metagame, as it would turn the fully-evolved creature into a Grass-type powerhouse.

However, this new move isn’t likely to be the only special circumstance about the forthcoming Community Day. As with previous Community Days, it’s likely that shiny Bulbasaurs could appear at an increased spawn rate; much like a shiny Dragonite with Draco Meteor, a shiny Venusaur with Frenzy Plant would be the envy of many-a-player. Check out the official announcement below:

Players who are steadfast in their desire for a shiny starter or a powerful Venusaur should be preparing for next weekend by stocking up on Pokeballs and Pinap Berries. Due to the limited time of the event, players who miss their window may not get another shot, so everyone needs to be as prepared as possible. However, it is also worth noting that Lugia has returned to Pokemon GO, so proper preparations for the Psychic- and Flying-type legendary as well as the Community Day event may be necessary.

It is worth noting, though, that Lugia will remain until April 2, whereas the powerful Frenzy Plant is only available for a short period on March 25. Also, players have to evolve Ivysaur during this event, or all the hard work is lost.

Pokémon GO is available now for Android and iOS devices.
