While the legendary Grass- and Psychic-type Celebi is available now for Pokemon GO Fest 2018 attendees, it's not the only rare and elusive Pokemon introduced at the event. Many PoGO fans may have never even seen an Unown, but now, the mobile ARG added the final piece of the puzzle, as the "?" Unown was introduced at this year's event.

For those unaware, Unown are rare Pokemon first introduced in Gen 2 that resemble the alphabet, as well as the punctuation marks "?" and "!". Pokemon GO first added the alphabet versions, followed by the "!" form, and finished out the 28 forms of Unown with "?". However, they are extremely rare, with large urban areas perhaps seeing one form appear per day.

Besides "?", the alphabet-shaped Pokemon resembling "C," "E," "B," "L," "I," spawned at Pokemon GO Fest, which many will realize spells out Celebi. Moreover, it seems that one of the requirements in the special research quest for catching Celebi is catching 7 Unown– at least for the event's attendees – which will make the quest much more difficult than Mew's if true for the worldwide quest. Check out the 28 forms of Unown below:

Of course, if catching 7 Unown actually unlocks Celebi in the worldwide special research quest, then Niantic can ease the burden on its players by giving the rare Pokemon a Community Day Event. While several Pokemon are deserving of being featured in the event, Unown makes a lot of sense considering the number of forms the Psychic-type has. Not to mention, Unown aren't really relevant to the game's meta, but players would flock to collect the various forms and add a shiny version to their rosters.

While many players are excited at the chance to catch Celebi and some Unown, it's worth mentioning that Pokemon GO is looking forward to Gen 4. In a recent tweet, Niantic teased the addition of the Gen 4 starters – Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup – to the mobile ARG, so it looks like fans will be in for a real treat in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for more information concerning Celebi, the Unown, and the Gen 4 starters. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
