During last weekend's GO Fest 2021 celebration trainers around the world came together to crush every global challenge put in front of them over the two day event. That means that all three Ultra Unlock reward events were activated and Pokemon GO players will be able to enjoy three exciting events over the next month features new shiny Pokemon, exciting Battle Raids, wild spawns, and a whole lot more.

The first of the Pokemon GO Ultra Unlock reward events is Time-themed and kicks off today (July 23). Now that the event is live, players can enjoy a ton of exciting features and battle against Dialga in Legendary raids for a chance at a shiny encounter. There is also some limited timed research to complete, so many trainers should be out and about crossing tasks off of their list during the event window.

In addition to the Timed Research that trainers can power through between now and August 3, there is also the opportunity to find some event-specific Field Research tasks by spinning Pokestops in the wild. There are some pretty strong event-related encounter and item rewards, so trainers on the hunt for Shieldon and Cranidos will want to be sure to keep an eye out for these particular tasks throughout the next week or so...

Pokemon GO Ultra Unlock Rewards

All Ultra Unlock Part 1: Time Field Research Tasks and Rewards

Catch 3 Pokémon with Weather Boost - Pinap Berry Pinap Berry * 2

Earn a Candy Walking With your buddy - Ultra Ball Ultra Ball * 3

Hatch an Egg - Shieldon Encounter

Spin 10 Poké Stops or Gyms - Poke Ball Poke Ball * 10

Win a raid in under 60 seconds - Cranidos Encounter

It's a short list of Field Research, but keep in mind that these rewards can be earned multiple times per day if players can find various Pokestops that are offering these challenges. Even though players can only earn one Field Research stamp towards their Breakthrough Encounter per day, it's still wise to complete multiple Field Tasks everyday if players are out and about anyway and there are rewards on the table that are worth the effort. Hatching an Egg and winning a Raid in under 60 seconds are fairly common accomplishments for the average player, so it definitely makes sense to keep an eye out for those two quests and complete them as often as possible for any player who is trying to rack up the Shieldon or Cranidos Candy during this event.

In the coming weeks, we should learn more about what other events will be arriving during the rest of the Season of Discovery. Be sure to check back in the near future for more Pokemon GO strategy guides, news, and updates. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
