Pokemon GO Fest 2020 has come and gone, which means it's time for the Ultra Unlock weekly events that players unlocked over the course of the fest. Niantic recently wrote up a post for the Pokemon GO website detailing exactly what those events are, week by week.

This was the most expansive in the history of Pokemon GO Fests as the first ever global (and entirely virtual) fest event, and the upcoming Ultra Unlock events were unlocked through trainer cooperation. For every eight Fest challenges collectively completed by trainers, one additional Ultra Unlock event was unlocked, to a maximum of three - one for each week.

The first of the unlockables is Dragon Week: a period of time for all of the Dragon-type Pokemon to have their time in the limelight. Alolan Exeggutor, Horsea, Dratini, Trapinch, Swablu, and Bagon will all appear more frequently in the wild alongside the possibility of a Shiny Deino, while Horsea, Dratini, Trapinch, Swablu, and Bagon will also be hatching from 7 km eggs, and Rayquaza appearing in five-star raids.

Week 2 is Enigma Week, with featured Pokemon found in the wilds including Jigglypuff, Clefairy, Lunatone, Solrock, Baltoy, Bronzor, and Elgyem. Normal Forme Deoxys will be available in five-star raids, and Cleffa, Igglybuff, Lunatone, Solrock, and Elgyem will hatch from 7 km eggs.

Finally, the third week is Unova Week, which was unlocked after trainers completed a total of 24 challenges: Sewaddle, Cottonee, Emolga, and Bouffalant, all Pokemon originating in the Unova region, will be making their debut in Pokemon GO. All of those Pokemon will appear more frequently in the wild, with Sewaddle and Cottonee (among others) hatching from 7 km eggs; Genesect will appear in 5-star raids, and there's even the possibility of s Shiny Genesect making an appearance, along with the Shiny Roggenrola.

Dragon Week runs from Friday, July 31, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. to Friday, August 7, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. PDT; Enigma Week from Friday, August 7, 2020 to Friday, August 14, 2020, at the same times; and finally, Unova Week from Friday, August 14, 2020 to Friday, August 21, 2020 at the same times. Pokemon GO players participating in the Ultra Unlock events are advised to, of course, be careful due to the current COVID-19 epidemic.

Pokemon GO players will certainly have their work cut out for them while participating in this three-week-long string of events, but it could also go a long way to minimizing boredom for the month of August.

Pokemon GO is available to play on mobile platforms.
