When Pokemon GO Tour: Kanto kicks off on February 20, players are going to have a very busy day ahead of them. The short event is jam-packed with bonuses and exciting opportunities and there is going to be a lot to keep track of. From the Special Research to the Collection Challenges, there is going to be a lot for trainers to check off their to-do lists throughout the day.

Select tasks are going to be easier at certain points of the day, depending on which Pokemon are spawning in the wild and appearing with Incense. Much like the GO Fest 2020 event, there will be rotating biomes every hour that change the current increased spawns and help Pokemon GO trainers complete different goals.

Throughout the day, Pokemon GO trainers are going to have the chance to compete 10 different Collection Challenges. So far, players have only ever seen one Collection Challenge available per day or event, so this is going to be a brand new experience. Five of those Collection Challenges will be location-themed and players will want to complete their by playing during the associated biomes throughout the day.

"If you don’t manage to collect the first 150 Pokémon originally discovered in Kanto during the event, don’t worry! All these Collection Challenges will be available until Sunday, February 28, 2021, at 7:59 p.m in your local time zone. You can use this extra time to trade Pokémon, evolve Pokémon, battle in raids, and encounter Pokémon after completing research tasks to finish your collection and claim the rewards!"

Throughout the day players will have two different opportunities to play during each of the hour-long biomes and then there will be two hours at the end featuring all the spawns that appeared throughout the day as a last opportunity to catch up and grab anything that was missed earlier. Those last two hours would also be an ideal time for players to take care of any trading that they need to do to gather the Pokemon from the opposite color version (assuming they paid for a ticketed version of the event).

Trainers should be sure to mark their calendars for the big event now and get ready for an exciting day when February 20 arrives. Be sure to check back in the near future for more Pokemon GO strategy guides, news, and updates. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
