Pokemon GO players are in for a surprise challenge over the holidays, now that the Team GO Rocket leaders seem to be rotating to a new lineup of fighters. Players around the globe have started reporting the changes, though some players still seem to be encountering the old lineups, as well.

Encountering Team GO Rocket leaders in Pokemon GO is a great way for trainers to get some practice in against very challenging lineups. All of the leaders are very beatable for players who are using the right -type matchups, but the fights can be devastating for players who go in blind. This new rotation means that challengers will need to rethink their rosters for a few of the big fights.

Pokemon GO hasn't confirmed the Team GO Rocket leader shadow roster rotations yet, but there are enough reports pouring in to confirm that they are definitely happening. It will be interesting to see if this change is followed up by another Team Rocket event in the near future or if it is a standalone change.

The new lineups look pretty tough and players will want to make sure to carefully plan their rosters before heading into the big fights. Don't forget to use some Stardust to powerup the corret Pokemon and don't be afraid to burn a few TMs to get the right movesets in place for the challenge.

For now, players may want to keep hunting down the best Unova Pokemon in the game if improving their Battle Raid rosters is their primary goal. Be sure to check back in the near future for more Pokemon GO strategy guides, news, and updates. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
