Another event has come to Pokemon GO with the Spring into Spring event running from April 4, 2021 to April 8, 2021. Like other big events in the game, the Spring into Spring event additionally has a collection challenge that players can complete before the event's end to earn a reward.
With the short time frame for this event, Pokemon GO players will need to act fast to catch all of the required Pokemon. This time there are ten specific Pokemon that players will need to find with certain ones even needing to be found in certain states.
By completing the Spring into Spring collection challenge players will be rewarded with a Lucky Egg, 50 Lopunny Mega Energy, and 2,500 XP. This is meant to celebrate the recent implementation of Mega Lopunny into Pokemon GO, which is also currently serving as a mega raid boss at this time.
In order to complete the Spring into Spring collection challenge players will need to catch the following Pokemon:
Exeggcute
Shadow Exeggcute
Bunnelby
Diggersby
Plusle
Minun
Flower Crown Pikachu
Azumarill
Flower Crown Chansey
Looking at the required Pokemon, the first that make confuse players is Diggersby. This is because the Pokemon has a strange symbol next to it and it not normally being able to be found in the wild. This is because the actual requirement for the Spring into Spring collection challenge regarding this Pokemon is to have Bunnelby evolve into Diggersby. This will cost players 50 Bunnelby candies.
The next challenging bit for some players may be Shadow Exeggcute. Luckily, the Spring into Spring event has greatly increased the likelihood of Team GO Rocket grunts having Shadow Exeggcute. This means that players can rescue one after an ordinary battle with any Team GO Rocket grunt.
Azumarill is the next Pokemon that can be tricky for players to find for this challenge. Players however can find one as a guaranteed encounter after completing the Catch 15 Exeggcute field research task. This task can be obtained from any Pokestop, but it is only one out of five possible tasks. If players don't get the task that rewards Azumarill, they should visit other Pokestops until they get it.
Finally, the rest of the Pokemon are luckily available through the increased spawn rates for the Spring into Spring event itself. Players however can also get Flower Crown Pikachu, Flower Crown Chansey, and Buneary through various field research tasks as well.
