Although many gamers are stuck inside this month, spring weather is still arriving and so are spring events in many video games. Although Pokemon GO had to cancel or postpone many in-person events this spring, there are still going to be lots of activities that players can participate in while practicing good social distancing.
The upcoming annual spring event is still going to happen and Pokemon GO players will be happy to have some exciting features and bonuses to take advantage of. The event kicks off in about a week, but trainers can read up on all the details of the event right now.
As always, a small handful of spring and Easter-themed Pokemon will feature increased spawns and there will even be some exciting shiny opportunities to ensure players log on during the week long event. The addition of shiny Exeggcute is definitely going to be an exciting addition to the game for all the collectors and completionists out there.
Players should be sure to pick up some incense, which should help make sure the special spawns appear around their homes, even if they are in a remote or rural area.

Features
The following Pokémon will be appearing more often in the wild: Exeggcute, Chansey, Mareep, Marill, and Torchic. If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny Exeggcute!
Buneary wearing flower crowns and Pikachu wearing flower hats will also be appearing in the wild! If you’re lucky, you might encounter Shiny ones, too!
The following Pokémon will be hatching more often from 2 km Eggs: Pichu wearing a flower crown, Togepi wearing a flower crown, Happiny, Munchlax, Tyrogue, Chingling, and Riolu.
All Eggs received from Gifts during the event will be 2 km Eggs.
There will be event-exclusive Field Research tasks that reward encounters with Alolan Exeggutor, Azumarill, and—if you’re extremely lucky—Audino!
A Togepi-themed bag and hoodie will be available in the in-game shop!
