January 2021 in a busy month in the world of Pokemon GO. Now that the Unova Celebration has wrapped up, it's time for the Sinnoh Celebration week to kick off and players are about to be very busy racing around tracking down increased Sinnoh spawns, Eggs, and Raid Bosses. The January 2021 Raid Boss list was already full of exciting challengers, but now players can enjoy some limited time Raid Bosses at every tier thanks to the Sinnoh Celebration.

The event brings back some fan-favorite Battle Raid bosses, which means some players are going to want to revisit old counter rosters and see what kind of improvements they can make now that new evolutions and Mega Evolutions are available in the game. The updated list of Battle Raid bosses should be very helpful for players who are trying to fill in some missing  Pokedex entries during this weeklong celebration.

Trainers may also want to note that one of the Sinnoh event exclusive Field Research Tasks involves completing Raid Bosses for a pretty solid encounter reward, so it may be worth visiting some Pokestops and trying to track down that particular quest before heading into battle against any of these Battle Raid bosses that will be around throughout the Sinnoh Celebration week event...

At this point no other Battle Raid bosses have been confirmed as part of the Sinnoh Celebration event and it seems unlikely that Niantic will drop any surprises on that front as the week progresses. That said, this is still a solid list of Battle Raid bosses and players who are interested in dominating the Pokemon GO metagame should use this opportunity to stock up on some powerful options for both PvE and PvP. Heatran is likely to be one of the most popular options throughout the week, so be sure to revisit those Fighting- and Water-type counters to get ready for a few matchups with the Legendary before the week comes to a close.

As trainers continue working through these amazing Celebration events and enjoying the new era of the GO Beyond update as they count down to the next season, they may want to keep hunting down the best Unova Pokemon in the game if improving their Battle Raid rosters and completing their Pokedex is their primary goal. Be sure to check back in the near future for more Pokemon GO strategy guides, news, and updates. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
