One of the greatest challenges in Pokemon GO is collecting all of the shiny Pokemon that the game has to offer, as shiny Pokemon encounters are incredibly rare. Hardcore Pokemon GO players who enjoy hunting down all of the shiny Pokemon in the game will soon have another one to look for, as the popular augmented reality mobile game will be adding two more shiny Pokemon to the mix.

As reported by Pokemon GO Hub, Pokemon GO will be adding shiny Vullaby to the game at 12:00am local time on Tuesday, November 9, and of course, that will include the shiny version of its evolved form, Mandibuzz, as well. Vullaby is the Pokemon GO Field Research breakthrough reward for November 2021, so players will have a chance to get a shiny Vullaby through that or by completing new Field Research tasks that have Vullaby as the reward.

If Pokemon GO players manage to get their hands on a shiny Vullaby, evolving it into a shiny Mandibuzz shouldn't be all that difficult. While there are some more demanding Pokemon evolutions in Pokemon GO, evolving Vullaby to Mandibuzz is a simple matter of collecting 50 Vullaby candy. That shouldn't take too much time for dedicated Pokemon GO players to do if they complete a lot of the Field Research tasks that have Vullaby as a reward and walk with the Pokemon as their buddy.

The addition of shiny Vullaby to Pokemon GO comes alongside some other exciting developments for the game. Shiny Vullaby's debut is coming alongside the return of Team GO Rocket leader Giovanni. Giovanni will have Shadow Lugia in tow and will likely prove to be a decent challenge for Pokemon GO players. Team GO Rocket in general will have different shadow Pokemon at their disposal, so fans should keep that in mind.

There's been a lot of exciting new content added to Pokemon GO lately, some as part of the Festival of Lights event that's going on right now. The Festival of Lights has seen the continuation of the Hoopa Special Research quest, not to mention the introduction of Dedenne.

Looking ahead, Pokemon GO fans can expect the Hoopa Special Research to continue, plus there will likely be a Christmas-themed event taking place in December as usual. While Pokemon GO fans wait for more information on that front, they can look forward to fighting the returning Giovanni and catching shiny Vullaby.
