This weekend, Niantic is hosting yet another Pokemon GO Safari Zone event, this time in Sentosa, Singapore. Like other Safari Zone events, even Pokemon GO players that can't attend the festivities in Sentosa can still get in on the action somewhat, as shiny Shuckle will start appearing worldwide for a limited time.

Beginning April 20 at 6am local time and until April 21 at 10pm, Shuckle will start spawning more frequently in the wild. Additionally, shiny Shuckle is being added to Pokemon GO as part of the event, and with the increased spawn rate, it will be easier for fans to find one. Shiny Shuckle should still be in Pokemon GO once the event ends, but players will want to be sure to catch as many Shuckle as possible between April 20 and 21 to increase their chances of getting one.

Shiny Shuckle isn't the only shiny Pokemon that Pokemon GO players will have a better chance at catching this weekend. Shiny Buneary is also out in the wild thanks to the Pokemon GO Eggstravaganza 2019 event, with Buneary spawn rates greatly increased.

The Pokemon GO Eggstravaganza 2019 event will also give Pokemon GO players some extra bonuses to look forward to while they're out hunting for shiny Shuckle and shiny Buneary. Not only will eggs hatch twice as fast, but Pokemon hatched from eggs will get players double candy. Plus, rarer baby Pokemon like Pichu and Smoochum have been added to the 2km egg hatching pool.

The Pokemon GO Eggstravaganza 2019 event includes its own Field Research quests and rewards as well, so Pokemon GO players should have no problem earning their daily stamp. The Pokemon GO Eggstravaganza Field Research quests and rewards all revolve around hatching eggs, and give players the chance to encounter the relatively rare Pokemon Chansey.

Between Pokemon GO Eggstravaganza 2019, shiny Buneary, and shiny Shuckle, Pokemon GO fans should have plenty of reasons to get out and about this weekend.

Pokemon GO is out now for iOS and Android mobile devices.
