Now that October's Pokemon GO Community Day has been officially confirmed to feature the psychic- and steel-type Pokemon Beldum, many are marking their calendars for this monthly event. Set to take place on October 21, this event will be some players' chance to get their first Metagross, and for others, it will be a chance to add a stronger Metagross with a special move to their collection.

Of course, until it gets closer to the aforementioned date, a lot is still in the air. It seems likely that Metagross' special move will be Meteor Mash, but that can easily be changed. Neither has it been confirmed that this Pokemon GO Community Day will host shiny sprites of Beldum, Metang, or Metagross, but if it didn't, it would be a serious break from form for Niantic.

With that in mind, we've gathered the shiny sprites as they would appear in the mobile ARG. As fans of the long-running core series will know, the shiny versions of the Metagross family are all silver instead of blue, making it a very special shiny to some. Check them out below:

As seen above, the blue on the pokemon become silver, and the silver/white become gold. This coloring makes this one of the more popular shiny types, although it's hard to compete with a shiny black Charizard. Even though the official Community Day reveal was today, many fans were likely hyped about this event since it leaked about a week ago.

However, it is worth reiterating that Niantic has not confirmed shinies will be a part of the event, but it seems like a safe bet that they will. While waiting for October Community Day, players will be able to work on their October Field Research Breakthrough to obtain the legendary beast Suicune. Per usual, it seems players have a busy month ahead. Good luck out there, trainers!
