Not too long ago, it was discovered that the game developers at Niantic added new Shiny creatures for the Eggstravaganza event that's currently underway in the popular mobile augmented reality game Pokemon GO. Now, it looks as if the company is set to offer even more uniquely colored Pocket Monsters for would-be trainers to collect, as a recent datamine has uncovered the inclusion of a Shiny Bulbasaur and its evolutions just ahead of the next Community Day centered around the Grass-type.

As seen in the Imgur album below from the Silph Road subreddit community member and Pokemon GO player by the name of "Chrales", fans of the ARG can not only get a good look at a Shiny Bulbasaur, but also they can view Shiny iterations of Ivysaur and Venusaur. Instead of the creatures' original bluish hues, each of the Pocket Monsters now sport tones that are more green in color, with Ivysaur and Venusaur's respective flower petals now being gold instead of pink as well.

Without a doubt, plenty of Pokemon GO fans will be excited to learn of the addition of Shiny Bulbasaur and its Shiny evolutions to the game, as there are surely many who fondly recall the Gen 1 Pocket Monster being selected as their first starter in Pokemon Red and Blue. What's more is that news of the creatures' Shiny variants will undoubtedly act as a further incentive to take part in the aforementioned Bulbasaur-themed Community Day.

Taking all of this into account, one can only wonder which Shiny variant that Niantic will consider adding into Pokemon GO next, as the company also just recently introduced the game's first Shiny Legendary with the powerful Psychic- and Flying-type Lugia. With this being the case, perhaps the developer will be eyeing other potential Legendary creatures for the next Shiny to make its way into the mobile ARG.

Pokemon GO is available now for Android and iOS devices.
