Pokemon GO revealed details regarding its September 2022 Community Day update, which includes multiple event bonuses and raid battles. Pokemon GO became a worldwide phenomenon in 2016, and the mobile AR game's updates continue to bring in players with enticing events and rewards every single month. Like previous Pokemon GO Community Day events, players must take advantage of the bonuses within a brief duration.
Roggenrola is the Pokemon to headline Pokemon GO September 2022 Community Day with more appearances in the wild. If players are lucky, they may encounter the shiny variant of Roggenrola when the update goes live on Sunday, September 18. Roggenrola will appear more frequently between 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time that same day. Players who capture Roggenrola may use the featured attack, Meteor Beam. Evolving the Rock-type Pokemon to its final evolution, Gigalith, allows players to use the powerful Charged Attack Meteor Beam.
During September 2022 Community Day, various event bonuses will be active in Pokemon GO. These event bonuses include double candy drops, an increased chance for candy XL drops for trainers level 31 and up, and one additional special trade. From 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time, trades also require 50% less Stardust to conduct. After the initial Roggenrola Community Day event ends at 5:00 p.m, players may challenge unique four-star raid battles featuring Boldore, Roggenrola's evolution. Roggenrola will begin to appear within a 300-meter radius around gyms that host the bonus raid battles.
The new "Community Day Special Research story: Rock ‘n’ Roll" will be sold for $1.00 on September 18. The new story focuses on Roggenrola, and Special Research story tickets will be available for purchase soon. These story tickets may be gifts to friends that achieved a friendship level of "Great Friends" or higher in Pokemon GO. To coincide with the Pokemon GO Community Day theme this month, all players may earn Roggenrola stickers by spinning PokéStops, opening gifts, and purchasing them from the in-game shop.
Pokemon GO September 2022 Community Day is packed with events and bonuses for Rock-type Pokemon fans. Although September 2022 Community Day is a limited-time affair, those who log in during the day will be greatly rewarded for joining raid battles and catching Pokemon to fill up the Pokedex.
