July 2020 is almost here, which means Pokemon GO players would love to be eagerly racing around their towns trying to confirm any rumored changes to the available Field Research tasks and rewards, but that's a bit challenging due to social distancing and lockdowns that are still in place in many areas. At this point, there have been no confirmed changes to the upcoming monthly rotation of available tasks and rewards, but that could still change in the next few days. As if the upcoming change to Breakthrough rewards weren't enough to be excited about, the current batch of encounter rewards is still full of shiny opportunities which are sure to keep players engaged and playing from home as the summer continues.
In recent months, Niantic seems to have moved away from fully rotating in new Pokemon GO quests and encounter rewards on the first of every month. This is a little disappointing for players who liked a frequent change of pace, but it does make it a little easier to remember which quests are the most rewarding. July seems like it will remain similar to June from what the code has revealed so far and stick with the following list of tasks and rewards for the next four weeks (aside from special Event interruptions).
Note: The following list may change over the next day or two if there are indeed any new July Tasks or Rewards. The most exciting bit will obviously be the new quests and changes that have been made to make completing these from home much easier. As expected, quests that revolve around hatching eggs have mostly disappeared. The list includes some good shiny opportunities, but not a ton of meta-relevant Pokemon, so some hardcore players may be a bit disappointed in this month's offerings.
