Pokemon GO players were not shy about providing Niantic with feedback on the Mega Evolution system when it dropped a few weeks ago and, luckily, the team behind the mobile AR game was listening carefully and quickly began making tweaks to try and make the system more user-friendly. The first batch of changes made some big alterations to what rewards are available from Mega Raids and also reduced the cost for Mega Evolving Pokemon after they have already been Mega Evolved at least once before. Now Niantic just needs to entice players back into the Mega Raids to give the system another shot.

With that in mind, players can now find a second Remote Raid Pass bundle available in the Pokemon GO shop. This bundle offers players the insane value of three Remote Raid Passes for just 1 PokeCoin. That's a very good deal and, considering what it takes to earn a few PokeCoins per day through in-game activities, the box is essentially free and shouldn't really require any kind of real money microtransaction for the vast majority of players.

Niantic announced the new bundle early last week while discussing Mega Raid feedback and it is now available in the game's shop as of this morning. Players are being encouraged to use the three Remote Raid Passes to team up with friends and quickly take down Raid Bosses  to earn increased rewards from the comfort of their own home or wherever they feel safest playing the mobile AR game...

"Your Mega September is just getting started! To help you enjoy this three-week event, we are now offering you a new 1 PokéCoin bundle featuring three Remote Raid Passes. With a Remote Raid Pass, you’ll be able to join any Raid Battle you can see in the RAID section of the Nearby screen or that you can tap on the map.

Did you know that the faster you win a raid, the more rewards you’ll get? Be sure to battle in raids with your friends so you can win as fast as possible! No matter where your friends are, you can invite them to your raid lobby as long as they have a Remote Raid Pass.

You can get the above bundle from now until Wednesday, September 30, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7). Remember, you must have fewer than three Remote Raid Passes to purchase more."

The Remote Raid Passes are too good of an offer to pass up and players should definitely log in and grab them whether they plan to do any Mega Raids this week or not. The Remote Raid Passes can be used for any tier of Battle Raid, so there's nothing wrong with hanging on to them until the next exciting Legendary Raid Boss descends on the game and stirs up some fresh excitement.

Now that the Mega Evolution Special Research event is live and the new mechanic is in place, the festivities should give trainers a good reason to continue catching the best Unova Pokemon in the game and getting closer to that complete Pokedex. Check back for more Pokemon GO updates closer to the event. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!

Pokemon GO is available now in select regions on Android and iOS devices.
