The second part of the Halloween event in Pokemon GO will see new Pokemon in new costumes for the time that runs into Halloween. Aside from a few additions and one removal, most of the event Pokemon, Research Tasks, Raid Pokemon, and rewards from Part 1 will be returning.

With Part 1 of the Pokemon GO Halloween event set to start soon, Niantic has finalized and revealed the Pokemon and rewards for Part 2 of the event. Under the moniker of "Spooky Festival," Part 2 will introduce new Pokemon in new costumes while keeping up the Spooky themes from the first half of the event.

Part 2 of the Pokemon GO Halloween event begins on October 27 at 10 AM local time, and Pokemon wearing costumes will begin appearing in the wild. Vulpix, Ninetales, and Pumpkaboo wearing Spooky Festival costumes can be found, and wild Costumed Vulpix can also be shiny. This will also mark the debut of Pumpkaboo's shiny in Pokemon GO, and costumed Pumpkaboo can be evolved into Gourgeist and keep its costume. In fact, all of these Pokemon have the potential evolve and will have the chance to be shiny. Pikachu and Piplup wearing Halloween Mischief costumes from the 2021 event will also return and can be shiny. The aforementioned Pokemon will join most of the wild event Pokemon from Halloween Event Part 1, except Absol.

Event bonuses will be: Double Catch candy, Double Hatch candy, and Double Transfer candy, and Trainers above Level 31 are guaranteed an XL Candy for walking with their buddy. Event-themed 7KM eggs will keep the same Pokemon as Part 1 of the event: Yamask and Galarian Yamask, Phantump, Golett, and Noibat. Special Research Tasks will involve Professor Willow and Rhi, and there is a possibility for trainers to find a shiny Yamask or Galarian Yamask at the end. The $1 and $5 Timed Research tasks in Pokemon GO will still be available in the store, as well as the Dusclops headwrap and mask and Zubat hat Trainer avatar items.

1-Star Raids will have Sabeleye, Purrloin, Phantump, Yamask, and Galarian Yamask. 3-Star Raids will have Gengar with Spooky Festival Costume and Driftblim with Halloween Mischief Costume with increased shiny odds, as well as Umbreon, Phantump, and Drapion. 5-Star Raids will switch to Origin Form Giratina with the Special Move Shadow Force. Mega Bannette will continue to appear as the Mega Raid Pokemon throughout Part 2 of the event, with trainers having an increased chance of catching a shiny Bannette if they complete the raid. The event ends on November 1 at 10 AM local time.
