A new month is here, which means Pokemon GO players are busy tackling the new batch of Field Research and earning Research Breakthroughs to score additional Legendaries. While working through all of that research, players may notice that, once again, Spinda looks a little different this month.

Much like Unown, Spinda has a large number of variations that could potentially all appear in Pokemon GO. So far, it seems like Niantic's plan is to rotate a new Spinda pattern with each month's Field Research rotations. That means that completionists now have a new form to track down during October.

Here's a look at the latest form...

Players should not expect this Spinda to behave any differently than the two they may have already encountered and caught. The Spinda form changes are purely visual and don't impact stats or performance in battles (not that anyone should really be taking Spinda in to many Raid Battles).

Although the summer of events has come to a close, there is still a lot going on to keep players entertained as the fall weather approaches. In addition to a new month of Field Research, players also now have the chance to earn EX Invites to battle Deoxys.

Check back for more updates and guides in the coming days and weeks. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!

Pokemon GO is available now in select regions on Android and iOS devices.
