Today marked the final day that Regice was available in Pokemon GO's legendary raids. Now the creature has been replaced by Registeel, but it's not just the legendary raids that are different. Niantic has updated the raid boss list for Pokemon GO, which now features a couple of Pokemon that have never been available in the game.

The new raid boss list includes Alolan Raichu and Alolan Marowak, which are making their debuts in Pokemon GO. They aren't the only Alolan Pokemon that have been added to raids, though, Alolan Exeggutor has also been added to the raid boss lineup.

Here are all of the current raid bosses in Pokemon GO:

pokemon-go-registeel

  • Tier 1 - Charmander, Kabuto, Makuhita, Meditite, Omanyte, Wailmer
  • Tier 2 - Alolan Exeggutor, Kirlia, Magmar, Mawile, Sudowoodo
  • Tier 3 - Alolan Raichu, Donphan, Flareon, Machamp, Onix, Porygon
  • Tier 4 - Absol, Aggron, Alolan Marowak, Golem, Houndoom, Tyranitar
  • Tier 5 - Mewtwo, Registeel

Some other notable Pokemon added to raids are Kirlia and Porygon. Kirlia is the evolved form of Ralts, and players will need plenty of Ralts candy if they hope to catch its new form that will be added with the fourth generation of Pokemon. Porygon is another notable addition, as Porygon is one of the rarer creatures in the game, and it is the only Pokemon that the Up-Grade evolution item can be used on. The fourth generation of Pokemon will also add a new evolution for Porygon called Porygon-Z, so this will be a good time for players to stock up on Porygon candy.

The current raid lineup in Pokemon GO is rather impressive, and should go a long way in helping dedicated players complete their Pokedex. However, it should be noted that players will need a larger group of people if they hope to tackle Tier 4 and 5 raids. This means that some Pokemon, like Alolan Marowak and Registeel, may be unobtainable for players in areas without an active Pokemon GO community.

Pokemon GO is out now for iOS and Android mobile devices.
