Pokemon GO players have to be very careful when it comes to how they spend their in-game currency (or real world money) in the game's Shop, so every time new boxes are released it's an exciting chance to analyze some new potential value. Obviously a priority is put on Premium Raid Passes and Star Pieces, but the real question is always which other others will be filler in the Box and if they will have any practical uses.

Starting yesterday, Niantic seems to have added three new Boxes to the Pokemon GO Shop. This means that the number crunchers are still doing some calculations and figuring out how these Boxes stack up against offers from the past, but we can definitely take a look at the contents and draw some early conclusions about them.

The three new boxes were spotted by Reddit users and don't seem to directly tie-in to one specific event, but are likely meant to be useful during the upcoming December Community Day Weekend event.

PoGO Community Day Boxes

The three boxes don't seem to be the best deal Pokemon GO's Shop has ever offered (like the 2018 Holiday Boxes), but they're far from the worst deal too. All of these items are fairly useful, except that level 40 players don't get much out of Lucky Eggs this far into the game.

Premium Raid Passes, Super Incubators, Incubators, and Star Pieces are some of the most useful items in the mobile game, so many fans will be happy to pick these up and put them to good use. It seems like the idea behind including regular Incubators in one of the boxes probably has to do with combining them with the Community Day egg hatching bonuses to fly through a ton of eggs during that weekend.

For now, players may want to keep hunting down the best Unova Pokemon in the game if improving their Battle Raid rosters is their primary goal.
