Pokemon GO’s July 2019 Community Day event is still a week away, but it’s never too early for players to start preparing their inventory and strategy for the Mudkip-themed event. As most Pokemon GO players know, Mudkip’s evolutions aren’t incredibly exciting in the current Battle Raid metagame, but they do fill a helpful spot in PvE rosters. For players looking to collect the perfect Mudkip evolution during the special day, we’ve got a guide that should help out.

Community Day is a few hours long, but that’s not a ton of time when it comes to hunting down a perfect Pokemon worthy of evolution. Players are quickly catching dozens of Pokemon and trying to keep track of which to keep, which to trash, and which to evolve throughout the course of the event. Using the Appraisal feature and IV calculator apps only takes a few seconds, but in the limited time event, every moment is precious. To help reduce the stress, the Pokemon GO community has once again put together a perfect guide (like this Mew IV chart) to remind players which spawns are the most important.

Pokemon GO Trainers who are all about ending the day with a perfect IV Mudkip to evolve and add to their collection can use this image to quickly reference the associated perfect CP for each level.

It’s also important to note that each of these CPs only represents the chance that the Pokemon has 100% IV. To be sure, players should use the appraisal feature to confirm. Sticking with in-game appraisal is a safer bet than using third-party apps, so that Niantic doesn't crack down on your account.

Keep in mind that obsessing over the 100% IV spawns is something that only the most hardcore players in the PoGO realm really care about. If you aren’t a min-maxer or a number cruncher, then there is still plenty to enjoy about Community Day without worrying about chasing perfects!

Regardless of where you stand, the potential to add a perfect Mudkip to the collection is pretty exciting, especially if it might be shiny. Good luck out there, trainers!
